Reformer Pilates
We invite you to join our Physiotherapist led Reformer sessions at our Ashby De La Zouch clinic.
What is a Reformer?
The Reformer was originally named the ‘Universal Reformer’ as Joseph Pilates believed that it will universally reform your body. It has a unique moveable carriage, spring and pulley system which has led to the creation of over 500 exercises. The Reformer is designed to variously assist and challenge the body so as to better perform the Pilates Matwork series. The Reformer also aids in assisting optimum movement patterns and in rehabilitating muscles and joints after injury.
How will it work?
- We will offer 1:1 and 2:1 sessions on the Reformer equipment in our specialised studio
space. You will have individualised feedback from your Physiotherapist, ensuring your
rehabilitation is specific to your goals and focused on the correct technique. - We request that all individuals have a 1:1 Physiotherapist led Pilates Assessment prior to
joining any 2:1 or 1:1 sessions so that we are aware of your individual needs and can create
your bespoke rehabilitation or fitness plan. - Once you have completed your Pilates Assessment, we welcome you to attend the 2:1
sessions with a friend, or if you are happy we will pair you with someone who is suitable to
work at a similar level to you.
Pricing
To quote Joseph Pilates,
“You will feel better in 10 sessions, look better in 20 sessions, and have a completely new
body in 30 sessions”.
As with all exercise, we recommended consistency and regularity to see improvements over
time. We therefore offer discounted class packages in blocks of 5 or 10 sessions. Please
contact the studio for more information on prices.
